Social Media Manager

Major Duties and Responsibilities |
- Strategically implement a high level of social media content across all platforms.
- Drive brand awareness and community engagement; monitor all accounts and engage in constructive user interaction.
- Conduct competitor and industry research to identify, report on, and implement future technology, best practices, trends, tools and hashtags to ensure our brand adopts emerging opportunities for increased success.
- Define KPIs and implement statistical and analytic tools to measure success of each social media campaign to determine long term strategic needs. Compile and submit quarterly reports to senior leadership as part of the digital marketing plan.
- Utilize storytelling across all channels to develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Maximize social media traffic, engagement and growth potential, and manage external digital platforms.
- Develop and deploy project timelines and strategic planning for social and digital campaign production.
- Run unique social media photo contests.
- Ensure integration with all marketing department efforts, including special events, media campaigns and product launches.
- Collaborate with the Creative Team (photographers, videographers and influencers) to integrate content with relevant social media formats, ensuring consistent storytelling across all platforms.
Requirements |
- Minimum of 5+ years professional social media management experience in a consumer product setting.
- Documented creative writing skills in a professional setting.
- A media, photo journalism, communications, business or writing background with related education.
- Resourcefulness in identifying trends in each channel within the consumer products space.
- Fluency building paid and organic campaigns using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.
- Ability to excel in a challenging fast paced environment across all departments and levels of leadership.
- Superior verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong competence with Social Media creation tools (HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator + InDesign).
- Video editing proficiency utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer.
- Sharp analytical skills and applied understanding of social media KPIs, by post type and platform.
- Strong ability to track business objectives and analyze data to craft narratives and reports.
- A passion and enthusiasm for building online communities and promoting the voice of a luxury brand.
